My dog got bacteria in her ear and dermatitis on her feet. They denied the claim and said I needed to send them more medical documents. Even after the Vet sent every single piece of paper in my dog's file to VPI they still requested more information. A couple of months later they claimed it 'MAY' be related to allergies -- which is a pre-existing condition. They have no proof that it is or is not and it would cost me $500 in lab tests to prove it. Never got a penny. Absolutely worthless. Glad this happened in month three after $60 of premiums instead of years down the road and a lot of wasted money. I will be reporting them:

VPI started billing under cancer (i had cancer rider) days before my dog was diagnosed. Slick way to get out of paying a couple of thousand dollars!
